Memorial Day Weekend 2011

Over the Memorial Day weekend, we dropped the kids off at "Grandma Camp" in Virginia. The kids had a great time with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Matthew and Joy. The 2 other uncles (Jeffrey and Stephen) were both out of town. Meanwhile, Mama and Dadda enjoyed a very nice getaway vacation to Charleston, SC! A really wonderful town to visit, great food, great shopping and great time to relax!

The Latest

This past weekend, Mama enjoyed a Girls Weekend in Miami while Dadda drove the kids by himself to Virginia to visit his family. Everyone survived. Mama was shocked Dadda decided to drive since it is a very long car trip with kids and she would never drive that far alone, but Dadda responded he would never take the kids on a cross country flight by himself. Touche! Here are some other pictures...Dadda was too busy surviving to take any photos while in VA.

Lila's Butterfly Cake

We have been MIA - after Lila's birthday party, she was sick for 2 weeks culminating in her first ear infection. Then Mama got really sick with a terrible stomach bug/flu and Dadda with pink eye. We are just coming up for air and hope with Spring coming, we will all be healthy. Here are some adorable cake photos from Lila's party.

Lila's 4th Butterfly Birthday Party

We threw a Butterfly Birthday Party for Lila at her school on the weekend. Everyone had a blast! The kids decorated butterfly wings and crowns, got manicures and tattoos, and ran around like kids do. Thank you to Auntie Maryanne who took all the pictures, hence there are no photos with her in them. And Grandma, Uncle Chad, and Uncle Jeffrey were a big help in setting up and cleaning up the party. Happy 4th Birthday Lila!

Today, our Lila turned 4 years old! Hard to believe, but our little Lila is a big girl now. We had a very busy day celebrating her birthday and now we are getting ready for her birthday weekend where we are throwing her a Butterfly Birthday Party!
